Pear Risotto Update

Thank you to everyone who asked how the pear recipe competition went. Unfortunately, I didn’t get very far. They did not have any requirements that the recipes be submitted from amateur chefs, so there were some heavy-weight, professional chefs who entered the competition as well. Unfair advantage? Perhaps a little, but I had fun creating and testing my recipe, and I’m looking forward to my next challenge. Let me know if you hear of anything. Also, my mom and I made a new risotto dish the other night. Look for the post within the week!
